Good storm whipped through this morning that ripped the Bimini canvas off a couple boats. One boat broke free and wedged itself in between a 60’ sport fisher and another cruiser and its prop tore up the fiberglass on the bow of the fishing boat. It’s calm now and blue skies now in sight. We are gonna hang out in Georgetown for the day.
Killing the day in Georgetown
Cool trees line all the streets.Chicken and Roosters wandering the streets.Turned out to be a beautiful day. Hot and sunny. Robbie spent 4 hours on the boat taking online classes. Kristin and I took a walk and found a local seafood store. We bought some scallops and Kristin is whipping up make-shift Étouffée. We walked the harborwalk trying to find takeout drinks, but no luck. We’ll push off for Myrtle Beach tomorrow AM. It’s getting dicey in North Carolina, as they have closed many of the marinas. But we are pushing on.Bright green dinghy.
