All varnished and ready to go back on the boat.Nice final evening in Baltimore. A little time at the Swim Club, then loaded up with crab dip from the restaurant and settled in for the night.
Headed to Shaw Bay, MD in the Wye River.
Good to be back out on the water. Quick little cruise across the Chesapeake to Shaw Bay to anchor out for the night.
We took the dinghy out to a little beach across the bay for a sunset cocktail cruise. I found a little wallet/purse on the beach, but no diamonds or gold coins inside.
Lots of sailboats anchored in the bay with their anchor lights looking like stars. Beautiful, quiet, calm night.
Back to Solomon’s Island
up early to catch the sunrise.Gotta own one of these things!
We tried to get into St Michael’s, MD, but no slips and too crowded to anchor. So we settled in for the night at Tilghman Island. Then back to Solomon’s Island for the week of remote work from the boat. We got some great meals (not necessarily the one show from the Tiki Bar). Also got some good dinghy rides in through the numerous creeks and around marinas. Kristin has a way to go in her piloting the dinghy.
